We moved to this house in the countryside ten years ago. In that time we have modernised what is already a stunning home. Grade II listed, the original features do all the hard work; I just wanted to add a modern edge to it. It is surrounded by stunning countryside. We feel very lucky to be able to live in a home that brings so much joy. But as William Morris wrote in 1889 ‘old buildings do not belong to us alone, but are an inheritance we hold in trust for future generations.’
